🐑 Herding 🐂

Le Pembroke Welsh Corgi est traditionnellement reconnu pour son instinct de troupeau très développé. Cette race, originaire du Pays de Galles, a été utilisée pendant des siècles pour garder et diriger le bétail, notamment les bovins. Leur instinct naturel les pousse à regrouper, pousser et contrôler les animaux, ce qui en fait d'excellents chiens de travail.

Si l'on considère que les installations d'entraînement à la conduite des troupeaux sont relativement rares dans ce pays, on peut encore voir des Corgis obtenir avec succès des titres de conduite de troupeaux à différents niveaux.

Lorsqu'ils sont bien entraînés, les corgis peuvent exceller dans des compétitions de troupeau où leur intelligence, leur agilité et leur énergie sont mises à l'épreuve. Leur petite taille ne les empêche pas d’être dynamiques et déterminés sur le terrain.
