marked the birth of Molly's blog, our first Corgi.
At that time, Miguel and I had already been together for 1 year and were sharing our love for this charming, intelligent dog.

At that time, we had no idea what the future held.

A few months later we welcomed our first litter just before sunrise. I'll always remember the wave of emotion and love we felt as we brought these precious babies to the world, it was undeniably the start of a great adventure!

There was an enormous amount of learning and studying, the breed standard, breeding practices, reading pedigrees, discovering different sports ect. I'd started agility, which I really enjoyed, until conformation shows piqued my curiosity. I was simply speechless at the beauty of the event, having the chance to see a hundred different breeds of dogs, each as magnificent as the next. The book containing all the breeds of dogs I'd loved to turn the pages of as a child was finally here in real life, right before my eyes.

It was during my first handling classes, under the wonderful guidance of a great expert, Mr. Serge Boudrias SMB ProHandling, that I took my first steps towards my first participation in conformation shows.

In the afternoon our precious Molly passed away at 4 years following heart complications related to grain-free food.
Our life collapsed with her departure.

I didn't think I had the strength to go on.
It was largely thanks to a wave of love and support from the families of our puppies that a small spark remained within us. A few months later, just a few days apart, 2 little girls (Papaye & Olive) were born to a breeder who took me under her wing, rekindling the flame we had for this passion.

This was the beginning of our partnership with the 𝙁𝙖𝙞𝙚𝙧 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙠𝙚𝙧 𝙠𝙚𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙡 𝙞𝙣 𝘽𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙪𝙨, which would change the course of our history.

Despite the distance, a strong bond filled with trust and respect was created with this breeder, who appreciated each of our exchanges and all of her knowledge she passed onto me. She sincerely wanted us to succeed, and I can never thank her enough for entrusting us with the pillars of our foundation.

One morning, Ninel wrote to me to announce the birth of a unique male from two exceptional parents. He was coveted by several breeders around the world, but it was to us that she wished to entrust the wonderful 𝘕𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘒𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘍𝘢𝘪𝘦𝘳 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘦𝘳

This dog literally gave us the moon
Canadian Champion at 8.5 months, he turned many heads on his way winning multiple Best Puppy in Group. Grand-Champion a few months later, making history as the first full-length tail Pembroke Welsh Corgi in Canada to win this title. He continued his career in performance, winning titles in barn ratting, trick training, lure coursing, dock diving & scent detection. He taught us a lot about the amazing versatility of this breed and especially to never give up!
